Hiking Lovcen

Lovćen is the most famous mountain in Montenegro and it rises above Boka Kotorska. The two peaks stand out: Štirovnik (1749m) and Jezerski vrh (1657). On Jezerski vrh there is a mausoleum and the resting place of the well-known Montenegrin poet and monarch Peter II Petrović Njegoš. Lovćen National Park is located in the southeastern part of Europe, in Montenegro. The National Park includes the central and highest part of the Lovćen massif, with an area of 6,220 hectares.
Plan i programme:
We start the tour from Ivanova Korita, which is located at an altitude of 1264 m, and go by the marked path, 6 to 7 km long, through the center of the Lovćen National Park. With a gentle climb we head to the mausoleum at the Jezerski vrh (1657 m). From this wonderful place we have a magical view of the entire Boko Kotorski bay and Montenegro.
